交通部觀光局轄屬的第12個國家風景區─「雲嘉南濱海國家風景區」管理處於92年12月24日掛牌成立。管理處之處址設於臺南市北門區原台鹽公司北門鹽場的辦公處所。
雲嘉南濱海國家風景區之觀光資源特色為：廣闊之沙洲、濕地、潟湖等綠地海岸景觀及其孕育的豐富生態資源，數千公頃之鹽田及養殖漁塭；為數眾多的廟宇及宗教文化及台江內海地區的開台歷史遺址，而最受矚目的則是黑面琵鷺棲地保護區每年引來數百隻黑面琵鷺。
重要景點有外傘頂洲、湖口溼地、東石漁港、北門鹽場、七股潟湖、七股鹽山、曾文溪口黑面琵鷺保護區、鹿耳門天后宮、四草大眾廟、砲台及溼地等。

Qigu Salt Mountains -- Attractions of South Taiwan -- Taiwan limousine service

The Qigu Salt Field was once the largest solar salt field in Taiwan supplying salt for the domestic agricultural and industrial sector. Through changes in time, solar salt was no longer economically viable, hence the Qigu Salt Field ceased production in May 2002, marking the end of 338 years of solar salt history in Taiwan and the dawning of an era of recreation at the Qigu Salt Mountain.

The Qigu Salt Mountain occupies an area of one hectare, and its white salt mountain peak is approximately six stories tall, making it a spectacle to behold. Through the fusion of tradition and innovation, Taiyen has infused the salt industry’s history, culture & creative and health concept to present the diverse development of the salt industry. With unique salt theme tourist attractions such as the salt mountain’s main peak, salt sculpture exhibition hall, solar salt experience area, salt house, antique machinery exhibition area and road train etc., the educational entertainment activities have transformed the park into a renowned sightseeing destination among international and domestic travelers.

七股鹽山 -- 南台灣旅遊景點 -- 台灣包車

七股鹽場過去是臺灣最大的曬鹽場，主要供應國內農工業用鹽，隨時代變遷，曬鹽不符經濟效益，七股鹽場遂於2002年5月廢曬，結束臺灣338年曬鹽歷史，七股鹽山的休閒遊憩時代隨之開啟。

Beiguan Tidal Park -- -- Attractions of North Taiwan -- Taiwan limousine service

 

Beiguan Park, also known as Lancheng Park, is a coastal park located in the northeast of Taiwan, Toucheng Township. With Nanguan in the south, it is the entrance to Lanyang Plain. During the Qing Dynasty, Beiguan is a military outpost and the Qing government encamped soldiers here. There are 2 ancient cannons of the Qing Dynasty in the park. After millions of years of erosion, there are many natural scenes in the park, especially the rocks. The park also has a great view of the ocean and the surging waves.
Guanhai Pavilion overlooks the Guishan Island, Wai-ao and Beiguan. The Guanhai Pavilion is a perfect place to appreciate the sunrise and the raging waves. The best time to visit Beiguan is when the tide rises or when the sun sets. The waves surge over the rocks with very loud sound. The 2 ancient cannons are over 160 years old, adding to the antique atmosphere of Beiguan.
During the Qing dynasty, Beigang ("northern pass") was a military outpost guarding the Yilan area to the south; today, only an old cannon battery remains to remind visitors of that early mission. The most notable geological features of this area are cuesta formations and tofu rock. Beiguan Tidal Park is situated on the top of the largest of the cuestas; just follow the footpath, and you can see interesting rock formations as you enjoy the pounding of waves against the rocky shore. Food stands in the neighborhood offer a mouth-watering array of snacks and seafood.

北關海潮公園 --

北關公園又稱蘭城公園，地處臺灣東北角沿岸，位於頭城鎮更新里，南端設有南關，遙相呼應，成為進出蘭陽的門戶，是一座景觀豐富的海濱公園。北關原為滿清時期的一座關卡，嘉慶年間清政府鑑於此地地形為防止盜匪進入宜蘭的最佳關隘，而奏請設立駐兵關卡。公園裡立有兩尊古砲，據說是清代嘉慶年間所鑄造的古物。公園內有經過千萬年沖刷而成的單面山、豆腐岩、小海岬等自然石岩景觀，石岩林立，堪稱東海岸特殊的景觀。在巨石與山勢對峙中，並設有階梯、步道和觀海涼庭，園中處處展現海濱特有奇景。由觀海台上南望，可遠眺龜山島及蘭陽平原，近看則驚濤拍岸，氣象萬千，蘭陽八景中的「北關海潮」即指此地。

觀海亭可清楚眺望龜山島、外澳等海上景致，以及北關一帶全景。站在觀海亭上，遠眺龜嶼佳景，近觀驚濤拍岸，氣象萬千、景色壯麗，尤其在漲潮或日出時，更是走訪北關的最佳時刻，巨石嶙峋峨立海岸，海濤洶湧，驚濤裂岸，一波波浪濤湧進石腹之中，潮聲迴盪，不絕於耳。兩座嘉慶年間鑄造的古砲面海凜立，已經有160多年的歷史，為老舊砲身更添古意，也為北關添加些許古早味。

Chiayi City Culture Center -- Attractions of South Taiwan -- Taiwan limousine service

Culture Center contains three buildings respectively for a museum, a library, and a music hall. In addition, there are exquisite courtyards. The whole cultural park covers an area of more than 5,000 pings. The ground floor of the museum is Cochin pottery, and various exhibition rooms are on floor 1 to floor 4. The library provides reading rooms, audio-visual rooms, stack rooms. The music hall is equipped with 1113 seats, and its stage curtains are patterned with "Locus Pond" by a Chinese painting Master Lin Wu-Shan, whose works weaved by hand in silks and satins.
The pond at north side of the music hall was used as wood storing, working together with Mt. Ali railroad transportation. It was also known as the pool of Chinese Fir. It had ever been one of eight scenic spots in Chulo. It may have been a blessing for enjoying at the side of the pond surrounding with dense planted trees at that time. In 1998, the pond was planed and kept as the past beauty through the fund raised by Major Chang Po-yeh, creating to be a new leisure site.

嘉義市立文化中心 -- 南台灣旅遊景點 -- 台灣包車

 

文化中心現有博物館、圖書館、音樂廳等三棟建物，加上美麗精緻的庭園、整個文化園區佔地五千多坪。博物館地下室為嘉義市交趾陶館，一至四樓設有各類展覽室。圖書館規劃有閱覽室、視聽室、書庫。音樂廳配置專用座椅，可容 1113 席，舞台布幕以國畫大師林玉山作品「蓮池」為圖案，使用綢緞以手工編織。
音樂廳北側水池，在日據時代配合阿里山鐵路運輸，做為浸貯木材之用，又名「杉池」，當時池旁植樹，濃蔭蔽天，垂釣林下，悠然自得，「檜沼垂綸」曾為諸羅八景之一。
